I have always said I don’t paint people or pets but this year brought the desire for new challenge. I found an incredible pet portrait teacher and have studied under her this year to learn the many nuances of dog and cat fur, colors, and process. I have loved it so much! And the stories that come along with these commissions are the sweetest. .
